It wasn't very long ago that you were born this day
But you have truly changed our lives in each and every way
Your smile brings us happiness, your tears just melt our hearts
We love you just the way you are from your toes up to your smarts!
From sitting, to crawling, to standing, to learning how to walk
You're changing every single day - and now you even talk!
You are growing up so very fast, that is so very true
So here's my special ode to you, my baby, who's just turned two!
