Visits with the Grandparents

Over the past month, we've been lucky to have both sets of grandparents come for weeklong visits. Charlie and I always appreciate the help that comes with having Nonna and Grandpa (Charlie's parents) and MiMi and Pops (Kristen's parents) stay with us! Austin enjoys being utterly and completely spoiled for the week and I know the grandparents love watching and playing with their grandson. Another bonus that comes with having the grandparents visit is the great pictures that they take. I have almost given up trying to take pictures of Austin, as I usually end up with a back of the head shot. The child is so on-the-go that he just doesn't have time for mom's silliness. Thankfully, the grandparents are new and fun, so they always get a few good shots.

June visit with MiMi and Pops (Pop Pop)

Austin lounging in Cape Cod

Pop Pop and Austin playing with his shoo-shoos (cars)

(I don't think Austin let my Dad just sit the whole time they were visiting. We heard a lot of "Pop Pop play?")

I can't believe we got a picture of him smiling - Good work Mom!

Unfortunately, there are no pictures of MiMi as she was the photographer during their stay. Sorry Mom - I should have taken a few of you guys together!

We had a wonderful time during both visits and we are looking forward to seeing both sets of grandparents again soon.
